It’s a Great Way to Start My Day
Please let me know
to what extent you can be involved in the party affair,
and while you offer Mom a nice cup of tea,
that old joke comes to mind:
One shorter silver haired man
with a large bloated stomach
gave me an education in poetry.
I pulled his pants down
and gave him the biggest medal.
The editors of The International Library of Poetry are thrilled
there is a place for navel-gazing.
